If you’re like me, you probably have a lot of bullet journal supplies. And I mean, a lot. And sometimes you can’t bring too much with you on the go, but you still need to bring a decent amount. So what do you do?
Sure, there’s a regular, ordinary pencil pouch…or, you can grab some elastic and try this super simple DIY bujo hack! 🙂
What you’ll need:
- Pencil pouch
- Semi wide elastic
- Strong glue. E6000 will work, but I wound up using a strong fabric glue that I had on hand. In some instances, depending upon the material of the pouch, hot glue might work as well.
How to make it:
- Simply cut the elastic to fit around your journal lengthwise and make sure that it will fit snugly, but not too tight. You don’t want it to slip off too easily when it’s filled up.
- Again, using your journal as a guide, figure out where you want to glue the elastic down. Mark it with a pen or pencil if you need to.
- Then, simply, glue the elastic down and let it dry! It’s that easy!

I plan on doing more bullet journal tutorials in the future, so stay tuned! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
